Battletoads is an arcade beat 'em up. You have three toads to choose from. Each one of them is unique in certain ways, like Pimple's attacks are slower than the others but deal more damage, and Zitz's attacks are able to take out a wider group of enemies. Every stage in the game starts with the 'Toads receiving a threatening call from the stage's boss.

The Battletoads attempt to once again thwart the Dark Queen's latest galaxy dominating plans.

After being defeated by the Battletoads, the evil Dark Queen flees to the outer reaches of the universe and the 'Toads and their mentor get on with their lives. However, one day the Earth's military is neutralized and a giant spaceship called Colossus emerges from the moon. Apparently, the Dark Queen is back in another plan to dominate the galaxy, and she has allied herself with the Shadow Warriors (from the Double Dragon series) to supplement her forces. Deciding to even the odds, the Battletoads get in contact with Billy and Jimmy Lee and asks them for their help. The brothers agree, and all five immediately take off for the Colossus in a mission to stop this two-pronged threat.

To combat the combined forces of the vengeful Dark Queen and the mighty Shadow Boss, the Battletoads and the Double Dragons have teamed up in this 16-bit remake of the NES original. You (or you and a friend in simultaneous two-player mode) can choose one of three Battletoads. As Zitz, Rash, or Pimple you fight your way through the seven levels of action, or you can be one of the Double Dragon brothers, Jimmy and Billy Lee.

Each team has its own fighting style: The Toads rely on big punches and kicks, headbutts, and slams, among other street-fighting maneuvers, while the Dragons fight using the various karate techniques that they are known for. Both teams incorporate a variety of special moves and weapons into their fighting. The most effective method for disposing of an enemy is to knock him to the ground and kick him off the screen. While Battletoads/Double Dragon:The Ultimate Team consists primarily of punch and kick, side-scrolling fights, at times it introduces elements of a shooter.

The Dark Queen and her pigs are at it again. While witnessing the unveiling of a new virtual reality contraption, the Battletoads are surprised by four Psyko Pigs who crash into the room and kidnap Michiko Tashoku, daughter of the president of the corporation that created the machine. Zitz tries to prevent their escape, but he is knocked unconscious and taken away also. Now it is up to the remaining Battletoads, Rash and Pimple to rescue their buddy and Michiko in this side-scrolling punch and kick game.

This game can be played with one or two players, just like in the NES version. Both Battletoads are capable of many special fighting moves. The Sidearm Slice, Big Boot Block, and Ball 'N Chain are just a few of Rash's techniques. Pimple can execute, among other maneuvers, the Anvil Swipe, BT Big Hammer, Battletoad Butt, and Jaw-Buster. Throughout the eight levels of play, the 'Toads must face tons of obstacles, legions of Psyko Pigs, and a plethora of skeletons and other bad guys.

Pimple and Rash, two rad and bad toads, have been invited to take part in a demonstration by Professor T-Bird of the Gamescape, a powerful machine capable of creating an artificial world! Everything ran well until the villain of the game, the abominable Dark Queen (or Queen of Darkness), entered the scene and ordered her Pigs of the Apocalypse to capture all of those present to make them her slaves. The time of our heroes has arrived. It is time for them to rescue all of the staff and then put an end to the Queen of Darkness. But no matter how simple it may seem, the Dark Queen has prepared a legion of disciples to hinder the victory of the toads!

B.C. Kid 2 is the second installment in the "Bonk" series. On other platforms it is known as "Bonk's Revenge". It was released in 1991

This time, the titular large-headed caveman is on a quest to recover half of the moon, which was stolen by the evil King Drool III. Its multiple stages each contain several specific areas, which range from outdoors to trains to space to underwater. As in most platformers, Bonk has several crucial abilities: the I button causes him to jump; the II button causes him to "bonk," an action in which Bonk slams his head forward, inflicting a killing blow on most enemies; I jump-II combo causes Bonk to head-butt the Earth, killing enemies he lands on and creating a damaging shock wave; Holding down the II button in midair causes Bonk to spin and hover, allowing for long, controlled jumps. Bonk can also use his large mouth to grip onto allowed surfaces for climbing.

Bonk's health is reflected in heart containers, similar to games in the Zelda series. Taking damage will cause Bonk to lose a certain amount of hearts, and hearts can be refilled through items, such as fruit, collected throughout the game. Bonk can also attain blue hearts that increase his amount of hearts, allowing him to effectively gain more health as the game progresses. The game also features Smileys, similar to coins in the Mario series, which are helpful when you get to the bonus round after each boss because you can get extra lives. Bonk can also turn invincible when he collects a large meat or two small meats, and can gain an extra life when he collects a small model of himself.

In the Game Boy version of this title, Bonk can turn into one of three unique heroes: Master Bonk, Hungry Bonk, or Stealth Bonk. Becoming Master Bonk dresses Bonk in a cape and provides him with Vulcan-esque ears, and gives him the ability to move faster and jump higher. Becoming Hungry Bonk gives Bonk an animalistic appearance with evil eyes and a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth, and gives bonk the ability to chew enemies to death, as well as providing him with a much stronger head-butt that can kill nearby foes. Becoming Stealth Bonk dresses Bonk in a striped jail outfit, and gives him the ability to enter special locked doors that lead to areas such as the bank, where Bonk can collect Smileys, the butcher's, where Bonk can eat more slabs of meat in hope for a different power-up, and jail, where Bonk loses a portion of his Smileys.

Cute Chick is in trouble! She is being held captive by the dinosaur, and it is up to Thor to ride his trusty wheel to the rescue. There are many obstacles in the way which Thor will need to jump and duck, including rocks, trees, rivers, lava pits, cliffs, and of course Fat Broad. When you duck, the character bounces up and down, so don't duck too soon. BC's Quest For Tires is a side scrolling action game resembling Moon Patrol in some ways, featuring characters from the comic strip BC.

Thor has completed his Quest for Tires. Now he must discover the Meaning of Life.

But it won't be easy. The Meaning of Life is hidden away; somewhere in a long maze of mountains.

Each mountain is covered with clams and Thor needs to gather 100 clams in order to pay the tolls and advance through each mountain.

The only way to Peter and the toll bridge is through the "real scary caves". There are lots of clams in the caves but watch out for stalagmites. Keep Thor's headlight sweeping back and forth for maximum clams.

Out of the cave, watch out for Grog, who saves clams from Thor.

Thor also has contend with rocks, potholes and pterodactyls (they'll eat his wheel) in his Quest for Clams and the Meaning of Life.

Two passable arcade games loosely inspired by characters and situations from the Disney animated version of the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.

The graphics aren't up to Disney's usual standards (or Sunsoft's, for that matter), and gameplay is merely passable at best. Roar of the Beast is the better of the two games under this title, but Belle's Quest is the more faithful to the film. Take your pick - I really don't care for either one.

Based on the MTV animated series "Beavis and Butthead", the game revolves around the title characters in their attempt to go to a GWAR concert. The only problem is that they don't have any money. They say that if you get your picture taken doing cool things, you can get to see GWAR and stuff. But taking pictures of yourself playing video games doesn't count, moron.

Everyone's favorite late-night television dunces are out to cause a little mischief, and they're letting you in on the action. Control the goofy duo through 10 massive levels of crazy action, trying to keep the teenagers out of trouble. Based on the hit television series of the same name, BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD (the game) features the same hilarious animations and humor that made its inspiration so successful. You'll journey through sewers, break out of detention, avoid a tangle at the local burger joint, and end up in jail before all is said and done. You can even use a password to save all progress in this cheeky take on America's youth culture.

Uhh...we, uh, got some Gwar tickets. (Gwar! Gwar!) Shut up! Oh, yeah. And...uh...like, Anderson's dog ate them (that sucks!). But then the dog blew them back up (ha- ha-hee-hee-hah-huh-hah-hah). Then Anderson ran over them with his mower (what a fartknocker) and...uh...we gotta get new ones (we need some help, buttmunch). Shut up!

Uhh, got any Gwar tickets? (Yeah, Gwar rulez! Gwar! Gwar! Gwar! WHACK Owwwww!) Shut up, bunghole! Or they won't play the game.

This is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT and superior game to the SNES version. Instead of being a straightforward platform game, it is a sort of interactive cartoon in the same mold as Virtual Stupidity and just as fun. Worth the look even if you're not a fan of the show.

One of two titles released by the now defunct Motown Games -- who realized the obvious futility in creating games when lacking talent -- Bebe's Kids is an unpolished and shameful attempt at creating a side-scrolling beat-'em-up. While goals in some levels are varied, they can be quite inane, particularly one that involves breaking dishes while your babysitter attempts to catch them. Lashawn and Kahlil both possess standard and special attacks, but their control is frustratingly unresponsive. Colorful graphics are marred by a grittily drawn quality that makes them an eyesore, especially when combined with the choppy animation and lack of detail. Bebe's Kids' music is promising at first, featuring a MIDIfied Hip-Hop style, but after fifteen seconds, loops into a repetitive hell.

He will have to travel through six levels that include Lydia's House of Horror, The Graveyard, Beyond the Graveyard, and the "Netherworld." In all of the levels, Beetlejuice will face a number of enemies like ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. Luckily, the ghostly hero can use bio-exorcist magic to dispatch most of the bad guys. Some of the stages take a break from the running, jumping, and shooting to allow you to go on a roller coaster ride in a mine cart or ride on a pogo snake. See if you can rescue Lydia in BEETLEJUICE.
