The game features Thrilla Gorilla, a surfing/skateboarding mascot of the company, Town & Country Surf Designs, on a quest to save his girlfriend (Barbie Bikini) who has been kidnapped by a witch doctor named Wazula, as you find out in the opening scenes. Unlike the original game, which is set in Hawaii, the sequel is set in Africa. The game features levels such as jungles, deserts, waterfalls, rivers, and submerged caverns. Thrilla rides a skateboard through the jungle and desert levels, a surfboard through the river and waterfall levels, and a shark in the submerged cavern levels.

Gameplay involves steering Thrilla around obstacles, over pits and past creatures while collecting coconuts used in the shell game to gain extra lives, bananas to gain extra life, and powerups such as the handstand powerup which grants temporary invulnerability to all manners of danger but pitfalls. Enemies include elephants, giraffes, giant spiders, carnivorous plants, spear-wielding humans, snakes, electric eels, and many others.

In 1997, 3 billion lives were lost to the war the machines began. The survivors called the nuclear holocaust Judgment Day. Those who remained faced disease, famine, and constant battles against the machines. After three decades of war, the Human Resistance's repeated attacks are finally weakening SKYNET, the supercomputer controlling the machines. In a last ditch effort to destroy humankind, SKYNET has sent two terminators back through time to eradicate the future leader of the Resistance, John Connor. The first terminator, a T-800, was dispatched to 1984 to prevent John's birth by killing his mother. It failed. The second, a T-1000 prototype, was programmed to kill John himself when he was 10 years old. To prevent John's death, the Human Resistance has captured and reprogrammed the T-800 to do their bidding. As the T-800, better known as The Terminator, it is your job to save mankind by stopping the T-1000 from killing John.

Designed for use with (although not limited to) the Super NES Super Scope, T2: The Arcade Game consists of maneuvering the sights of a gun around a scrolling wasteland of robots, tanker-trucks, cyborgs, war vehicles, endoskeletons, terminators, and other machines, shooting everything in sight. Your primary weapon through the seven levels of play (broken up into two missions) is a machine gun. Its ammunition supply is endless, but it does have a tendency to overheat. Additional weapons you can pick up include a rocket launcher, a 10-gauge shotgun, smart bombs, an M-79 grenade launcher, and a rotating-action six-barrel mini-gun.

Story:
For eighty years, Valeria has been in constant strife, and its three leading ethnic usergroup all claim leadership. The three factions are:

Gargastan: While these people make up 70% of Valeria's total population, they suffer constant inner struggle between moderate and radical theorists on how government should best be handled. This weakens what would be a dominant majority.
Walstanian: An oppressed minority of Southern Valeria, making up only 10% of the population. Their suffering is the catalyst to the plot in Tactics Ogre.
Bacrumese: These are generally the more "elite" of Valerian society, making up a solid 20% of its people.

King Roderick, aided by the forbidden powers of the "Hell Gate," is able to dominate the people of Valeria until Dorgalua of Bacrum successfully leads his army to defeat Roderick. Dorgalua then claimed the throne as his own, and was able to end the struggle between the ethnic usergroup. Under King Dorgalua, the rights of the people were preserved, and all internal struggles in Valeria came to a temporary halt.

All is right until the entire royal family is lost due to a string of accidents. Because the late King Dorgalua had no living heirs, the ethnic usergroup once again struggled for leadership: Bishop Brantyn of the royal court, Cardinal Balbatos of the Gargastan people, and Duke Ronwey of the Walstanians all fought for control, but in the end, Balbatos and Brantyn stalemated. In order to preserve their power, the two men took separate measures: Cardinal Balbatos sought an "ethnic cleansing" policy and slaughtered thousands of innocent Walstanians and Gargastans, while Brantyn received aid from the Roslolians, the greatest order in all of Lodis.

The separation of the three races thus sets the stage for the beginning of the game. The player is greeted by a collage of scenes depicting the Roslolian Order's mysterious actions in Griate, hometown of Denim Pavel, Catiua Pavel, and Vice Bozeck, the main characters.

Gameplay:
Tactics Ogre is similar to the turn-based strategy style of tactical RPGs later popularized by Final Fantasy Tactics (developed by former user of Quest, including writer-director Yasumi Matsuno), complete with battles taking place on isometric grids.[6] Like other tactical RPGs, the player builds up a team of several characters with changeable classes and fights on an isometric playing field. The order of movement is determined by the speed of individual characters, in contrast to games in which each side moves its entire team at once. Each character is move individually on the grid and the order of combat is calculated for each character individually.

This is a game of tag using dragons.

The dragon is only vulnerable from the rear so you need to sneak up on your opponent to tag him. Be careful, though, that your opponent does not sneak up on you and do the same to you. In a one player game, it is you versus three computer controlled dragons. In a vs. mode game, it is you versus another player controlled dragon. In a double player game, it is you versus another player and three computer controlled dragons in a wild free-for-all.

Contrary to the classic speedy gameplay in the Sonic series, Tails Adventures is a puzzle-based platformer with a strong emphasis on item collecting and backtracking, like a side-scrolling action RPG.

Tails can walk, jump, duck, look up, fly, hang on ledges, and can solve puzzles and defend himself with a range of different items, such as Hammers, various types of Bombs, and medallions bearing other characters, which allow him to perform additional actions, such as Spin-Dashing or punching enemies. His health is measured numerically by a Ring Item Box at the top left corner of the screen. HP is replenished by collecting Rings, which can be found by blowing up rocks or defeating enemies. He starts with 10 HP, but that number maxes out at 99 when all six Chaos Emeralds have been collected. His air time is limited by the flight gauge, which starts at about 3 seconds and maxes out at about 15.

Story:
While flying aimlessly on a solo adventure, Tails discovers a small island and lands to investigate. The island appears to be totally uninhabited except for mine cart tracks that weave around the landscape. Tails momentarily frets that Eggman may have some kind of discreet operations transpiring on the island, but his thought is interrupted when he notices the vibration of an approaching cart on the tracks. Sensing danger, he leaps into a nearby cluster of bushes just in time to see a gnarled old hag whiz by in a sparkling silver cart. The old woman, announcing to nobody inparticular, proclaims herself to be the great Witchcart, and claims the island and everything on it as her own, threatening to transform any dissidents into crystal. With a wild cackle, she calls her henchmen to the "flying machine" and is followed in short order by Carrotia, Bearenger, and Fockewulf. Tails, determined to free the animals of the island, emerges from his hiding place and gives chase to Witchcart and her minions.

Gameplay:
The gameplay of Tails' Skypatrol is less in line with the familiar platforming style of the traditional Sonic games. There are no rings or emeralds to be collected, Dr. Robotnik is entirely absent and Tails is constantly "suspended" in flight mode and clears each stage simply by completing each course from left to right. The screen is fixed and constantly moves along with him. Should Tails fall, bump into objects or touch the ground, he loses a life.

Across each stage Tails carries a golden ring with him which he can throw as a projectile to defeat enemies or break walls. Using the Ring, he will also latch on to any number of devices the player will encounter in each stage, ranging from gymnastics bars to rail carts.

In order to stay afloat, the player must constantly watch Tails' flight meter, which slowly drops to zero. Scattered across the map are Mint Candies which Tails can collect in usergroup of either one, two or three to replenish his stamina.

It features gameplay very similar to Sega's "Puyo-Puyo" games. 'Coins' drop in sets of two's from the top of the screen and players must form chains of three or more same colored coins to make them disappear.

The game is set up as a two player versus style game with CPU opponents for the single player game. Clearing multiple chains at a time sends locked coins to the other side. These locked coins are enclosed in clear boxes which are removed when a nearby coin is cleared from the screen. This can set off more chains which adds to the strategy of the game.
