Professor Duckbrain has stolen all of Yosemite Sam's movie awards, so our hero gets the job of getting them back and nabbing the bad guys with his trusty bubble gun, while avoiding dynamite-laden booby traps hidden all over Hollywood.

Outstanding sound and graphics, but only average gameplay and story. Still, it's one of the best of the Looney Toons games for the Genesis.

Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions is an action video game for the Super NES (1993) and Game Boy (1995). The European Game Boy version is known Daffy Duck as while the Japanese Game Boy version is known as Looney Tunes Series: Daffy Duck

Shrinking rays and crushing platforms are commonly seen as the player tries to kill Martians that are standing in the way along with rock monsters and dragons. Lava won't instantly kill the player's character but falling into a bottomless pit will. In the end, Marvin the Martian must be destroyed in the final stage of the game.

Dodgers has infinite ammo for his starting gun and more guns with limited ammo can be found or bought throughout the game with the game's fictitious currency (which is depicted by the dollar sign). There are five types of guns: the regular gun, the three-shot gun, the electric gun, the bomb gun and the antimatter gun. Dodgers also has a jet pack so he can fly around to avoid danger on the ground and reach new locations, a shield to block incoming projectiles and a special attack called Nutty, which makes Duck Dodgers whirl around and destroy every enemy on the screen. However, Duck Dodgers has a tendency to bounce backwards whenever he fires a shot from any of his weapons.

In the Game Boy Color version, certain enemies were removed in the first and second levels. The Game Boy version includes a secret "hard" difficulty level. Losing in this difficulty level will simply reset the game instead of bringing up the game over screen.

Daffy starts with five lives, each time that an enemy grabs him, falling into a trap, or his energy meter runs out, he ends up losing one of his lives. Hearts and bags of money will be able to increase his lives. Food that has been left behind by the enemies will increase his energy level, and the treasure box that appears at the end of each stage will give him access to the next one.

You play the role of a beautiful young warrior babe in this bloody arcade beat-'em-up whose plot is the typical "I must avenge/attack/defend (fill in the blank here)" storyline.

A side-scrolling beat-'em up in the same vein as Golden Axe, but with far fewer moves and smaller graphics. Has a violence content worthy of Hokouto no Ken, and has some of the most original level design to be found in a platform fighter of the day. Its power-up animation sequence is by far superior to most other Golden Axe clones, and it has some rather unique gameplay elements of its own. Easy to learn, difficult to master, well worth the effort.

Long ago, in the distant land of Moralos, in a time when vast jungles still covered the Earth, an evil presence emerged from its tomb beneath the ground. His name was Gilbas, and he was about to destroy the inhabitants of the land. Aganan, a great warrior, was summoned to save the troubled land and put an end to Gilbas by sealing him in the tome from where it came.

Unfortunately, Gilba was successfully resurrected and another warrior, Danan, was called. His quest is to locate the three sacred objects that Aganan used to defeat Gilbas: "The Orb of Light", "The Amulet of Light", and "The Knife of Light".

There are about four rounds to complete, and has Danan going through exotic locations defeating enemies such as valkyries, ogres, bees, spiders, and several others. At the end of each round, you come face to face with a boss, which takes quite a number of hits to kill with your sword. Once they are defeated, they are likely to give you one of the objects that you need to defeat Gilbas. More to the story is then revealed.

Assisting you with your journey are three animals: an eagle, a monkey, and an armadillo. To get these animals to help you, however, you will need to collect three of their tokens that are found in yellow chests. These animals are quite useful in dangerous situations. The eagle, for example, can get a hold of you and fly you to safety if more than one type of enemy surrounds you. Anyway, you can get these animals to help you at any place, at any time, as long as you have three of its tokens. Yellow chests can also reveal extra strength, extra time, or extra health.

The game ends when you run out of time, or when you lose your health, and there are no second chances, unless you manage to find some elixirs, which are rare.

It was a dark and stormy night. On top of the hill, the ominous Dark Castle sat, awaiting its next challenger. You, the intrepid young adventurer, took a deep breath and then walked inside.... Ported from the Commodore 64 original (and it shows!).

The graphics are so 8-bit bad as to be pathetic, the classical score is rendered rather lamely given the Genesis hardware, gameplay is obstinately awkward, and the story speaks for itself. The occasional touch of black humor is not enough to save it. Bury this in the cold, hard ground - and leave it there.

Fantasy hack and slash game in which up to four people can play at the same time, choosing from three stock fantasy characters (Knight, Wizard and Bard) and, for some reason, a Ninja. Players must then fight their way through enemy-packed levels, plundering treasure and avoiding the game's many traps. Gameplay is highly reminiscent of Atari's legendary 1985 classic, "Gauntlet".

Darkman was developed by Twilight and published by Ocean Software in 1991. It was released for the ZX Spectrum, NES, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64. It was also ported to the Game Boy and Atari ST. The game's plot is loosely based on the film of the same name.

n this side-scrolling platformer, the player controls Darkman, a superhero who can jump, kick and punch, as well as swing from a rope during action sequences between levels. In each level, Darkman disguises himself as the boss of the level, whom he must defeat before the time limit elapses. Tying into the plot of the film, Darkman wears masks of various gangsters who are responsible for his disfigurement, but his disguise dissolves after being exposed to sunlight for too long. The character changes into a different member of the evil gang in each level, taking on their attack moves as well as their face.

In-between levels, Darkman must photograph his quarry before he can make a mask of them. These scenes involve moving the cursor to take a picture of the gangster. The better the photo accuracy, the more time Darkman is granted to complete the subsequent level. The final level is the most faithful to the film, and takes place on a skyscraper under construction. After the player defeats their mirror image five times and wipes out the mob cartel that scarred Darkman, the final boss is inexplicably a clone of Darkman himself.

Darkwing Duck is a 2D 3rd person platform game featuring this Disney super-hero, friend of Lauchpad McQuack (the Duck Tales character who worked as a pilot for Scrooge McDuck).

As a decent super-hero, his role is to save the city from his enemies.

Graphics are cartoonish, like other Disney licenses developed by Capcom, but darker.

Gameplay is similar to Mega Man and Duck Tales, in the same jump and run style. Controls are easy to handle.

Darkwing Duck is a video game based on the animated series Darkwing Duck. It was designed by Interactive Designs and Radiance Software. It was published by Turbo Technologies Inc. in 1992.

Story: Steelbeak has recruited some of St. Canard's dangerous criminals to help to build an ultimate crime weapon. As a result, S.H.U.S.H. requires the help of Darkwing Duck to stop them. There are few clues, except a picture of the criminals looking at stolen artwork. Darkwing must bring Steelbeak to justice by scouring the city to find puzzle pieces that reveal the villain's location.

Players battle enemies while collecting puzzle pieces scattered throughout each of the first three levels. Levels are timed and Darkwing is crushed by a falling safe for prolonged useridling.
Darkwing using his gas gun.

The player's primary attack is jumping on enemies heads. The player can also use a gas gun, which can only be used when the player has gas pellets as ammunition. Three colors of gas pellets correspond to confusing, sleeping and knock out gases, which describe the effects inflicted on enemies. Cherry bombs can be used to defeat all enemies on the screen and scattered power-ups can be collected for various effects such as increasing remaining lives or granting temporary invulnerability.

Players take the role of Dash Galaxy, a space scout who has been captured by a hostile civilization. Gameplay involves a series of floors with several rooms each. Keys must be collected to progress to higher floors, and eventually, an escape ship. Dash's only weapons are a limited supply of bombs and remote detonators. Good timing is crucial to completing the game, requiring navigation of trampoline jumps and roaming enemies.

While the rooms are side-scrolling action puzzles, the floors have an overhead view, and include more difficult block-moving puzzles which can fatally trap a player.
