Backed by a rockin' soundtrack that should've rocked harder, Cannondale Cup brings Road Rash-style mayhem to the seldom-explored bicycling genre. Players select from eight cyclists who can punch, jump, and collect speed-ups as they race on eight courses ranging from the city to the mountains. There are also an impressive number of selectable mountain bikes -- each rated according to turning, speed, tires, acceleration, and shocks. Though the tracks are boring in design and graphical appeal, the backgrounds are distinctive, and the object-throwing thugs placed around the tracks as well as the riders themselves look quite decent. A unique control system and solid racing/combat action will make players want to take this game out for a ride.

Hey, here's an original useridea - let's simulate remote-control car racing on a computer! Neat, huh?
Doesn't offer much in the way of graphic variety, but the animation on the cars is unbelievable and the controls are great - it works just like a real radio- controlled car. The addition of weapons spices up the races a bit.

As an undercover agent of Chase Headquarters, your job is to patrol the streets and track down five criminals. You are given a mission briefing before you start which gives information on the suspect and what car they drive. Then you drive across the city without crashing into other cars, and catch up with the criminal's car. To arrest the suspects, you must keep bumping into their car until it is no longer functional. And you have to do this under a strict time limit. You can't afford to crash into cars or buildings or you waste time getting on the road again.
However, once you've caught up with your suspect, you are given more time. Your car is also equipped with turbo boosts, which you can use to gain extra speed if you are way behind the criminal. Each arrest is based on a "suspicion".

At the start of each level the player is informed who they are pursuing, a great distance away: They must apprehend the criminal before their time limit expires. The criminal's car is constantly moving away, so if the player repeatedly crashes or drives too slowly, the criminal will escape. At some points during the game the road splits, and the correct turn must be taken, otherwise it will take longer to catch the criminal. When their vehicle is reached, the time limit is extended; the vehicle must be rammed a number of times until the criminal is forced to stop, then is arrested.
