Cadash (AKA Kadasshu in Japan) is a sword and sorcery video game which combines elements of both the role-playing video game genre of games and the platform genre of games.

STORY:
The demons and abominations of nature who reside in the underground kingdom of Cadash have not forgotten that, thousands of years previously, they once shared the light with humans. Then one rose among them who was especially powerful, a demonic wizard born of a human woman - the Balrog. The Balrog promised his followers they could in time emerge from their subterranean prison and rule the world of men, taking revenge on humans for their prior defeat in battle and subsequent exile, if the Balrog could mingle his blood with that of a human king.

GAMEPLAY:
Cadash borrows many principles of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link's gameplay, combining side-scrolling platform action with an RPG system of statistics, levels, money and magic.

The Turbo Grafx 16 (PC-Engine) version of Cadash implemented many changes to the original game. Many aspects of the game were changed, including agility, defense, spell costs, and damage, to better balance the characters. Formerly challenging characters such as the fighter and mage were greatly enhanced to rival and even surpass the priestess. To accommodate the differences in hardware power, the levels were divided into large rooms and halls connected by doors and corridors, whereas the arcade game used large, seamless levels. The PC-Engine version featured colorful, new designs and graphics that are a sharp contrast from the darker shades used in the arcade and Genesis versions. The PC-Engine version did not allow any continues in one-player mode, although dead allies could be revived at inns in two-player mode. The time limit, that existed in the original arcade version, was removed.

The Red Skull is out to conquer the world once again (like he ever does anything else), so it's up to Captain America and the Avengers to stop him and his army of thugs. Inspired by the DC Comics serials.

A sad platform beat-'em-up that could be a lot better than it actually is. Gameplay is decent enough, but the graphics are rough and the bad sound gets on your nerves after a while. Fans of the comic books will like it, but that's about it.

Captain America and the Avengers is a side-scrolling, hand-to-hand combat game.
Choose one of four characters to battle the Red Skull and his evil army: Captain America, Vision, Iron Man, or Hawkeye. Each character has
special weaponry and special abilities.

Characters in Captain America and the Avengers can pick up objects like tires, rocks,
barrels, and cars to use against enemies. As with most combat-style games, certain
enemies are more difficult to defeat than others.

Between levels, there are flying stages where the characters take to the air to fight
enemies. The flying stages require the heroes to destroy ships and flying enemies to
advance to the next ground stage.

Each character in Captain America and the Avengers possesses unique abilities.
Captain America throws his titanium shield to destroy enemies. Vision uses his
mind blast. Hawkeye shoots arrows with his bow, and Iron Man uses his
special armor's pulse cannons to do battle. Each character is also capable of a jumping attack.
With these special attacks, the character jumps into air, hovers there for a moment, and
then fires his weapon against enemies at ground level.

The ultimate goal of Captain America and the Avengers is to reach the Red Skull's
island and defeat him before he can conquer the Earth.

In Captain Commando, you can play as one of four heroes. Captain Commando is the leader of the superhero team surprisingly called Commando, Ginzu the Ninja is the stealthy magic wielding member, and Mack the Knife -- or Mummy Commando -- uses his powers of the undead to fight evil. To round out the team, Baby Head is a two-year-old genius who operates a super bad-guy-fighting-machine. Gameplay revolves around visiting various parts of the city and fending off waves upon waves of criminals in the traditional Capcom 2D fighting style.

Captain Commando is a 1991 futuristic side-scrolling beat 'em up game.

STORY
Captain Commando is set in a crime-ridden future in the year 2026, where a superhero named Captain Commando, assisted by his three faithful Commando Companions rise up to protect the Earth and all the Galaxy from a gang of super-powered criminals.

GAMEPLAY
Captain Commando follows the same gameplay established in Capcom's previous beat-'em-up Final Fight. The player can select between any of the four "commandos" (Mack, Captain, Ginzu, or Baby-Head) as their character, with each player controlling a different character. The player's objective as usual is to move towards the end of each stage, defeat every adversary who gets in their way while avoiding any traps that they may throw at the player's way before eventually fighting the boss awaiting at the final area of each stage. The game consists of a total of nine stages.

Designed to educate and entertain children who suffer from diabetes, Captain Novolin is a side-scrolling action game in which players guide a diabetic superhero to rescue the mayor, while preventing cutely designed junk food aliens from taking over the world. Captain Novolin walks (and sometimes rides a boat) at a leisurely pace throughout a game that lacks detailed backgrounds and features nondescript music. Stomping the aliens is an exercise in redundancy, and the action is overly linear, as players never veer from the left-to-right course to go up a ladder, inside a cave, or anywhere else off the beaten path. Yet as an educational title, the game fares better. Players must give themselves insulin injections and eat the proper amount of healthy foods to keep their blood glucose levels from going too low or too high. Kudos to Raya Systems for publishing such a well-intentioned game.

The game has five levels, each of which was divided into two different type of stages. The first stage involves controlling the international teenager heroes (Planeteers) flying their Eco-Jet to some enemy fortress, while trying to avoid the instant death that occurs by touching any of the scenery or getting hit by the various projectives.

The second stage involves controlling Captain Planet himself as he fights his way to a ecovillain from the animated series.

In Captain Silver, you play the role of Jim, a brave young lad with a taste of adventure. You embark on a journey to find Captain Silver's secret treasure hoard, which is rumored to be hidden on an island in the Eastern Seas.

There are six scenes in the game. During his travels, Jim will explore villages, fight his way on board ships, venture through caves, and wander around tropical islands. In each of these six scenes, Jim must use his sword to kill cats, rats, bats, witches, skeletons, and other creatures that are waiting for him. When Jim touches, or is shot at, by a creature, he loses one of his lives, but when he kills a creature, he can collect some gold that they leave behind, which can be used to buy items from shops. However, rather than getting gold, enemies leave behind some gold containing one of the letters that spell the word "CAPTAIN SILVER". If Jim manages to get all of these letters, he will be awarded an extra life.

Jim may only use his sword to start off with, but once he collects a fairy that floats toward him in every scene, Jim will be able to shoot stars at enemies, making his kills more efficient. The maximum number of stars that he can have is six. There are other power-ups that Jim can collect in the game. These include the "clock" power-up, which gives Jim extra time; the "boot" power-up which allows Jim to jump higher; and the "coffee?" power-up, which enables Jim to shield himself from creatures until he is hit by one.

There is a boss in each scene, which he must defeat in order to proceed to the next round. There is also a certain time limit, which Jim must complete the scene before it expires. If he does not, then he will lose a life.

The player controls Casper, followed by Kat Harvey whom he has to protect from any danger. Being a ghost, Casper can pass through walls and other obstacles, but he can't go away from Kat too much, or else Carrigan's ghost will abduct her. The game follows loosely the plot of the movie. This game uses a revised Absolute A Boy and His Blob engine. Picking up special objects allows Casper to morph into these objects to clear rooms of enemies, and to protect Kat from certain hazards. Mirrors placed throughout the game allows Casper and Kat travel to other parts of mansion, and outside electrical lines allow Casper to pick up the last of the toys, when he picks up the electric bolt morph.

Casper is a 2D Platformer game, developed by Planet Interactive and published by Microids, which was released in 2002.

Casper plays as a top-view action-adventure game with pre-rendered graphics. The game consists in first finding tokens of friendship for Kat and Dr. Harvey, then finding the pieces for the Lazarus machine, and finally finding the Cellular Integrator (which Carrigan's ghost, who serves as this version's final boss, steals, leading Casper to her lair) while exploring the mansion and dealing with Casper's uncles (especially in the second act, as his uncles as well as different variants thereof [like Gravedigger Stretch, General Fatso and Hedgecutter Stinky] guard the pieces of the Lazarus). Unlike other versions, other than the Ghostly Trio and Carrigan, there are no enemies. The game instead focuses on solving puzzles.
